True. A bike that NEVER brakes is probably too heavy. It will drain you quicker, but to use that as an excuse is weak. If you don't ride what you have then you will complain about ANY bike you have. People with excuses just make up new excuses.

That was when BMX was dead exept for a few hardcore guys. The flavour at the time was beat the piss out of your bike and your self. I have seen the dropouts cut down substantially and with lighter parts it can get to a decent weight but it will never really be a light bike. Not what it's ment for anyhow. Guy's say man up and and ride brakeless, I say man up and ride that!

I just realized that the smallest dirt jumps at C.O.P in Calgary are exactly what you were talking about. I'm heading there again this week with my hardtail and will be sure to give them a go while I'm not riding the downhill trails.

I've hit a small 3 pack before, it was sort of flowy. I've never a 6, I don't think I could keep the rhythm up that long. My friend has some jumps at his place, but they're not one after the other. Maybe I'll convince him to build a small flowing 6 pack. He definitely has the room.

I've always wanted to build my own jumps. I just don't have anywhere to build them. I'd say my biggest jump is right around the 5-6 foot gap. Nothing big at all.

You're probably better at trail riding than I am. I can't jump worth a damn, I'm too used to street and park. I can't blame you for riding suspension. When I'm your age I'll probably have to go to big wheels and squish as well if I keep riding the way I do now.

I assume they're v-brake mounts since you're not a fan of u-brakes.

Hey, I know you've built a few frames, by any chance do you have pictures of your jig?
